Michael Lawlor Smith came to Downstream with a challenge: Produce a high quality documentary of a trout restoration project using video primarily from cell phones — older model ones. Using Lawlor’s concept script as a starting point, Downstream rewrote the script, acquired B-roll footage, edited, and styled a video that was true to Smith’s original vision and exceeded everyone’s expectations.
