TCWA was formed when local residents came together to confront the environmental degradation of Totier Creek caused by a confined animal feeding operation (CAFO) and the spreading of sewage sludge and industrial waste on farm fields. Downstream supported the group’s launch with graphic design, including the TCWA logo and website development. When TCWA rolls out its water monitoring program, Downstream will deploy WaterWatch on TotierCreek.org.
