Downstream partnered with the Eastern Panhandle Conservation District to create a series of four interpretive signs for Sam Michael’s Park along Elks Run in Jefferson County. Each sign illustrated a practical solution that people can use in their own yards to protect Elks Run—the drinking water supply for Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
