The Downstream Project was selected from a raft of contenders to re-design the Website for the Capital Region Land Conservancy (CRLC), headquartered in and serving the greater Richmond, VA area. CRLC is the first group from this region of the Chesapeake Bay watershed to join the growing Downstream Network of water and land conservancies. The CRLC selection committee was impressed with the breadth and depth of Downstream’s experience in supporting conservation groups of all sizes, reflected in a growing list of Website Partners.
The James River, Virginia’s largest river, flowing across the entire state and through downtown Richmond, is Virginia’s largest tributary to the Chesapeake Bay.The Downstream Project is proud to be supporting CRLC in their mission: “To conserve and protect the natural and historic land and water resources of Virginia’s Capital Region for the benefit of current and future generations.”
